What is scrambling?
For the adventurous hiker or mountaineer, or the climber who wants to move quickly in the mountains, scrambling offers an amazing way to travel through breathtaking mountain scenery on steep rocky terrain.
Scrambles range from simple rocky ridge walks, such as Crib Goch on Snowdon or the CMD Arete on Ben Nevis, right through to tricky roped scrambling on easy rock climbing terrain.
We offer guided scrambles around Snowdonia and the UK along side progressive skills courses aimed to enable you to independently lead any graded scrambles.
Introduction to scrambling and guided days
Want a taste of scrambling or need a guide for an adventurous mountain scramble which is just outside of your comfort zone? We love getting out into the mountains, so let me take you scrambling for a memorable day. We will pick a suitable rocky scramble and show you what it’s all about, guiding you on a classic route such as Crib Goch or the North Ridge of Tryfan.
Three Day Progressive Scrambling Skills Course
Ready to move on from hiking and unroped grade one scrambles to something a bit more serious? Or maybe you want to transfer your rock climbing skills to moving quickly in the mountains?
