Mixed climbing tasters and guided days
This course is for rock climbers or those with some winter experience wishing to try the best mixed climbing Scotland has to offer.
Perhaps there is a classic mixed route you’ve always wanted to climb like Tower Ridge, The Seam or Dorsal Arete, but you don’t have the skills to tackle it alone? Leave that to us and we will guide you up some of the best winter climbs in the UK.
Progressive mixed climbing
If you don’t have a specific route in mind and just want to develop your mixed climbing, we offer three or five day progressive mixed winter climbing courses.
Learn the techniques required to get up any classic route, along with a host of different winter specific skills. These include using technical ice axes in inventive ways, ice screws, turf hooks, warthogs, keeping your axe or crampons sharp and staying comfortable in the inevitable Scottish winter weather!
